Authors note: This is a parody relating to both the poem Mother to Son by Langston Hughes, and Fallen Angels Walter Dean Myers. The tone of this parody is exhausted just like in the original poem. The parody follows the theme of Mother to Son, while using the characters and concepts from Fallen Angels.
Well, Peewee, ill tell you
Life for me ain’t been no easy
Its had flaws,
its been rough,
and racism in the streets
Places were there ain't been no roof over my head
nobody there
but I’se keep lookin forward
tryin to make it through life,
thers been ups,
but theys always be endin in downs
them downs start be messin with my head
thats how i find myself here
but i still keep lookin forward
it aint been no easy Peewee
but im goin make it
life for me aint been no easy
